The three-AI quorum
Court-facing language does not leave on a single model’s say-so: OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Google’s Gemini each read it, and the system shows where they agree and where they diverge.
No single machine gets the last word
A document headed for a Bexar County courtroom is not the place to trust one model and hope. The three-AI quorum is the answer to a plain question a prosecutor or a judge might ask: how do you know this reading is sound? The answer is that it was checked three ways before a defender’s name went anywhere near it.
Court-facing documents pass through OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and Google’s Gemini, and the system surfaces where the three agree and where they diverge on the law, the citations, and the framing. A citation one model questioned, a sentence two would tighten, an argument the third thought reached too far: those weak joints come back flagged, for the lawyer to weigh.
Defensibility, not a flourish
The point of the quorum is defensibility. A single model can be confidently wrong, and a confidently wrong sentence in a motion is a sentence opposing counsel will find. Three independent reads do not make a document right on their own, but they make the disagreements visible, and the disagreements are exactly where a lawyer’s attention belongs. The framing is the same one the whole product runs on: the machine surfaces, the attorney decides.
So the quorum is a posture, not a feature you toggle for flair. It is the system saying, in effect, that on anything bound for the court it will not rely on one reading. It will read three ways, report the divergence plainly, and hand the lawyer a document that has already been stress-tested before the first human edit.
Where the quorum is live and where it is honest about the line
Here is the honest shape of it, because the rule is to never market a parked lane as live. On the evidence side, Google’s Gemini does the multimodal review of the footage and audio today. On the drafting side, the three-AI read is the defensibility posture for court-facing documents, and finished automatic drafting depends on the attorney-approved pathway templates and Anthropic’s Claude being in place; today the drafting boundary returns a demo motion while that lane is completed. We will say so plainly, here and everywhere, until the full drafting path is live.
What does not change is the order. The quorum reads, the system flags the divergence, and then it stops and waits for the lawyer. The attorney reads the document, edits it, and signs it. Software does not sign a motion, and software does not file one. The three-AI read is a check the lawyer reviews, never a vote that decides.
The quorum and the Gideon thread
A well-funded office has a second lawyer down the hall to read the draft before it goes out. The appointed defender, often the whole office alone, has not had that. The quorum is built to put a version of that second read within reach of the solo and the small firm: three independent passes over the court-facing language, with the disagreements laid out, so the lawyer the court appointed on Friday files work that was checked the way a better-resourced office would have checked it.
That is the access-to-justice argument under the engineering. Gideon promised a real lawyer with real tools, and a real tool here is one that does not let a single machine speak for the defense in front of a court. Three reads, every divergence shown, and the defender’s hand always the last one on the page.
